DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Exeter Rose Farm has a rich history as a family-owned flower farm that is uniquely situated adjacent to a vibrant existing neighborhood. Our architectural approach respects that legacy, siting new homes carefully so that they respect new and existing neighbors alike and create an active neighborhood and streetscape. The architectural language draws on traditional New England housing forms, updating them with clean and contemporary detailing and foregrounding a commitment to energy efficient and sustainable building practices. To demonstrate our vision for the look and feel of the neighborhood, we have developed ten house designs. In keeping with Rose Farm’s roots, each architectural example bears the name of a flower species.
